Q: What insurance does Dr. Wang accept?

A: Dr. Wang is an out-of-network provider to most insurances. Dr. Wang is able to provide you a “super bill” for you to submit to insurance companies for potential reimbursements. Most private insurances may cover some percentage of expenses after you have met the annual deductible. However, it is your responsibility to provide payments prior to each appointment.

 

Q: What is a “super bill”?

A: A "super bill" is an invoice that can be use by you to request for potential reimbursement from your insurance.

 

Q: What age group does Dr. Wang see?

A: Dr. Wang is able to see patients from all age groups including children, adolescents, and adults.

 

Q: What is the cancellation/no-show policy?

A: In order to respect Dr. Wang’s time, all no-shows without cancellations of at least 48-hour notice will be charged in full. All payments are expected to be made before the start of each appointment.

Q: What form of payment does Weekend Behavioral Health accept?

A: Weekend Behavioral Health accepts cash or debit/credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, or Discover Card).

Q: What do I do in an emergency or crisis situation?

A: If you or your child are experiencing a crisis situation, feeling suicidal or need urgent help, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Q: What do I do if I need a medication refill before the next scheduled appointment?

A: For existing patients, it is possible for Dr. Wang to refill your psychiatric medications over the phone before the next scheduled appointment. These phone calls will cost $125.00 for every 15 minutes with a minimun  charge of 15 minutes ($125.00). Please allow 2-3 business days for Dr. Wang to reach you.

Q: Which states do I need to be in to receive behavioral health care from Dr. Wang?

A: Dr. Wang is licensed in California. You must physically be located in the state of California at the time of the appointment.

​

Q: Do I need to be with my child during every session?

A: A minor under the age of 18 cannot fully consent to psychiatric treatment or psychiatric medications; hence, a biological parent or legal guardian with full parental rights needs to be with the child during each appointment.
